Kalamazoo's Ludka Selected to 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Men's At-Large Team

Kalamazoo College men's golf standout Nick Ludka was selected to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division III At-Large Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Ludka was named a Second-Team Academic All-American® by CoSIDA, becoming the first-ever Kalamazoo golfer to earn the national award for academic and athletic excellence.

Ludka, a senior golfer from Saginaw, Mich., holds a 3.98 GPA as a chemistry and pre-med major. Ludka was recognized with numerous honors this season including All-MIAA, All-Region, and the MIAA Sportsmanship Award. Ludka was the only NCAA Division III finalist for the GCAA's prestigious Byron Nelson Award.

Student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 GPA on a 4.0 scale and must have completed one full calendar year at the nominating institution to be eligible.

The Men's At-Large Team nominations are open to student-athletes who have competed in lacrosse, rifle, skiing, fencing, swimming and diving, tennis, golf, volleyball, gymnastics, water polo, ice hockey and wrestling.
