GCAA Announces Additional All-America Scholars for 2018

Members from the Adrian, Calvin, and Kalamazoo men's golf teams garnered postseason academic accolades July 25 with the release of additional Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Adrian's Andrew Skibski, Calvin's Sam Kuiper and Ben VanScoyk, and Kalamazoo's Nicholas Ludka and Travis Veenhuis were added to the academic award listing for the 2017-18 academic year.

The additional All-America Scholars join previously announced honorees Jos Gibson, Andrew Goble, Kade Hoeksema, and Ben Kramer of Hope.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically and compete in at least two full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA Championships, have a stroke average under 79.0 in Division III and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
