HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- Following the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) men's basketball regular season, the eight head coaches voted on All-MIAA awards.

Calvin University sophomore center Jalen Overway was voted the MIAA Most Valuable Player for the second-straight year after leading the Knights to a share of the championship title with a 12-2 conference record.  In starting all 14 league contests, Overway concluded the season as the MIAA's leader with 110 made field goals, 295 points and 21.1 points per game.  He is also second in the conference with 63 free throws, 160 total rebounds (45 offensive, 115 defensive), and 11.4 boards per game.  Overway also earned weekly awards including D3hoops.com Team of the Week and USBWA National Player of the Week, and is a three-time MIAA Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week selection this season.  He is now a two-time All-MIAA honoree.

Trine University senior forward Emmanuel Megnanglo is a two-time MIAA Defensive Player of the Year after previously receiving the accolade in 2021.  Megnanglo helped the Thunder clinch the co-championship title and the No. 1 seed for the 2024 MIAA Men's Basketball Tournament with a 12-2 mark in league play.  In starting 12 conference contests and playing in all 14, Megnanglo finished top three in the MIAA with 37 offensive rebounds, 32 steals, and 44 blocks.  Megnanglo received Second Team All-MIAA recognition in 2023.
