With two game dates left in the MIAA regular season, plenty is up for grabs; Hope and Olivet are tied at 9-3 heading into their Wednesday showdown in Olivet. At 7-5, Adrian and Trine each need one win to secure a postseason berth; two losses this week could provide a window for the three teams tied at 5-7.

• Hope stretched their winning streak to five games with 90-point efforts against Adrian Feb. 7 and Alma Feb. 10. In their 95-77 win over Adrian, Hope gained 55 points from the scoring tandem of Jason Beckman (Jr., G, Shelby, Mich.) and Dante Hawkins (Sr., G, Holland, Mich.).

• A three-pointer in the waning seconds of regulation gave Olivet a boost into the extra session to outlast Adrian Feb. 10, 81-78. Jalen Adams (Sr., G, Saginaw, Mich.) led all scorers with 34 points to go with 17 rebounds for the Comets, who will face fellow first-place Hope Wednesday in a pivotal MIAA tilt. It was part of a 2-0 week for Olivet, who also notched an 81-75 win over Alma.

• Trine's Myles Copeland (Jr., F, Perrysburg, Ohio) had a standout week, pouring in a career-best 41 points in a 75-68 win overtime win against Calvin Feb. 7 before adding 37 in Trine's 76-72 victory over Albion Feb. 10. Trine added two wins to their MIAA table, tying the Thunder for third place with Adrian with two games to play.

• Trine's Myles Copeland and Olivet's Jalen Adams each earned national honors for their efforts on the hardwood last week. Copeland was named UWBWA National Player of the Week, while both were named to the five-player D3hoops.com National Team of the Week.
