• Adrian's 2-0 week against MIAA challengers kept the Bulldogs in a three-way tie for first place. The Bulldogs outlasted Albion Jan. 31, 67-62, with four players scoring double figures in the win. Adrian added a 70-67 victory over Trine Feb. 3, led by Justin Webster (Sr., F, Adrian, Mich.) and his double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds.
• Hope tallied a 90-65 mid-week win over Kalamazoo Jan. 31 before defeating Calvin on the road Feb. 3, 76-59, to sweep The Rivalry series. Aiding in both victories was Dante Hawkins (Sr., G, Holland, Mich.) who had game-bests of 19 points versus Kalamazoo and 23 points against Calvin.
• Olivet went on the road for two MIAA wins last week, defeating Trine Jan. 31, 70-61, and Kalamazoo Feb. 3, 68-63, to stay tied for first in the league standings. Four Comets scored in double figures against the Thunder Wednesday, led by Tracy Edmond (Jr., G, East Lansing, Mich.) and his team-bests of 18 points and nine assists. Against Kalamazoo, the Comets erased a three-point halftime deficit thanks in part to 16 points by Jalen Adams (Sr., G, Saginaw, Mich.) after the intermission.
