Adams selected to play in 2018 NABC Reese’s All-Star game

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Olivet College senior Jalen Adams has been selected to play in the 2018 National Association of Basketball Coaches Reese's Division III College All-Star game, which will be played as part of the 2018 NCAA Division III Championship.

The game will be played on Saturday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m., and prior to the NCAA Division III championship game at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Virginia. The teams are composed of two senior student-athletes from each of the eight regions in Division III, two seniors selected by online voting on D3hoops.com and two senior at-large selections. Adams is part of the West Division roster.

Adams ranks among the NCAA Division III leaders in scoring (seventh, 26.2 ppg), total points (sixth, 707), double-doubles (11th, 16), field goals made (third, 266), field goals attempted (first, 541), free throws made (15th, 153), total rebounds (15th, 288) and rebounding (21st, 10.7). His 707 total points also broke Olivet's single-season record.

Adams is the second men's basketball player in Olivet history to be play in the NABC All-Star game. The other was Michael McClary in 2011. McClary scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds, leading his West team to a 92-81 victory.
