Maurice Hunter, a sophomore forward on Trine's men's basketball team, was honored Monday on the national level with his selection to D3hoops.com's National Team of the Week, the online publication announced.

Hunter averaged 22.0 points and 12.0 rebounds in two MIAA contests last week while shooting 66.7 percent from the field. Against Hope Jan. 27, Hunter scored 17 points with 12 rebounds and six blocked shots - a total that is tied for 34th in the nation this season for blocks in a game. Earlier in the week, in Trine's 100-97 overtime win over Alma Jan. 24, Hunter scored a season-high 27 points with 12 rebounds in 33 minutes.
