Albion senior defensive lineman earned a spot on the 2021 Associated Press (AP) Division III All-America Second Team, announced on Friday, December 17.

Arendsen concluded the season as the leader of the conference with 11.5 sacks and 81 sack yards.  Not only was Arendsen voted the 2021 MIAA Most Valuable Defensive Player, but he also earned All-MIAA honors for his fourth-consecutive season.

Arendsen was selected to the D3Football.com Team of the Week on October 26, received D3football.com Second Team All-Region honors on December 8, and was tabbed a Second Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) on December 14.

The senior Brit led his team defensively to the regular-season co-championship title and the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Championships.  Albion concluded the season with an overall record of 9-2, along with a 5-1 mark in league play.
