Three Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association football players were recognized Tuesday (Sept. 19) by D3football.com to the national online publication's National Team of the Week.

Olivet's John Adams III (Fr., CB, Redford, Mich.), Alma's Caleb Reinhart (Jr., RB, Montrose, Mich.), and Adrian's Cameron Cook (Sr., K, Linden, Mich.) were all honored by D3football.com after earning MIAA Player of the Week accolades on Monday.

On defense, Olivet's Adams started the day by returning an interception 50 yards for a touchdown for the Comets' first points against Aurora Sept. 16. Adams had four tackles from the defensive back position, including two were for loss. Adams also scored on special teams, returning a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown in Olivet's 37-21 victory.

Offensively, Alma's Reinhart broke the program record for rushing yards in a game (241) in Alma's 45-40 win over Benedictine (Ill.) Sept. 16. Reinhart scored four touchdowns - three rushing, one receiving - for 246 total yards on offense and accounting for 53 percent of Alma's scoring.

On special teams, Adrian's Cook set a Bulldogs record for most points in a game by a kicker in a 62-7 victory against Rockford Sept 16. Cook's 8-for-8 effort on extra points, coupled with field goals from 45 and 22 yards, gave the senior 14 points on the day.
