MIAA Trio Gathers National Honors from D3football.com

FREELAND, Mich. – Three Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association student-athletes earned weekly accolades Tuesday (Oct. 11) from D3football.com for their performances in competition last weekend.

Adrian's Connor Storms (Jr., P, Flint, Mich.), Hope's Brandan Campbell (Jr., RB, Otsego, Mich.), and Trine's Me'Leick Miles (Jr., DT, Indianapolis, Ind.) were named to the website's national Team of the Week.

Storms had three punts for 164 yards in Adrian's 28-21 win over Lakeland (Wis.) Oct. 8. Two punts boomed for nearly 70 yards, including a 68-yard punt that flipped the field for the Bulldogs and helped Adrian score in the fourth quarter.

Campbell rushed for a career-high 231 yards and all five of Hope's touchdowns in a 35-19 win at Alma Saturday. His effort helped Hope finish with 276 rushing yards and 402 yards of offense in the win.

Miles had nine tackles to lead Trine defensively in their 35-16 victory over Albion Oct. 8. Of those nine tackles, five were for negative yards, including three sacks.
