Rounding out the top five in the preseason poll, Alma went 8-13 in MIAA competition and 11-28 overall last year.  The Scots will look to returning Second Team All-MIAA infielder Kevin Tuttle.  The senior finished third in the conference with 89 at bats last season, while also tallying 30 hits.

Albion (8-13 MIAA, 15-24 overall) welcomes back sophomore pitcher Sean Cooper after earning a spot on the All-MIAA First Team during his freshman year.  Pitcher Josh Hoogewerf, who earned Second Team All-MIAA honors last season, will return for Trine (9-12 MIAA, 14-23 overall) for his junior year.  Olivet's (4-17 MIAA, 9-26 overall) roster will feature 2022 Second Team All-MIAA infielder Gabriel Kirck in his junior year.  The Comets will be led by former assistant coach Santiago Mendez in his first season at the helm of the program.
