On April 13, 2021, Alma senior pitcher Aaron Saenz was named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week for his performance against Albion on April 10th.
Saenz threw a complete game shutout in the Scots' 7-0 win in game two of a doubleheader Saturday against Albion College. The senior allowed only one runner on base all game with a bloop single to right field to start off the fifth inning. The lefty finished strong by retiring the final nine batters and getting the final out on a strikeout. Saenz was extremely effective on the mound, throwing only 70 pitches for the entire game.

Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors. This is the seventh Team of the Week of the 2021 season.
