Adrian's Darnell Represents MIAA as D3baseball.com All-American
Adrian College senior utility player Dugan Darnell has been named Fourth Team All-America by D3baseball.com after a senior season of prowess both on the mound and at the plate. Darnell garnered Fourth Team All-America honors on the strength of all-around success in 2019.

Darnell boasted a .314 batting average, registering 41 runs scored, 18 extra-base hits, 43 RBI, and three stolen bases while in the lineup for the Bulldogs. On the mound, Darnell owned a 3-1 record with eight saves, pitching 23.0 innings and finishing with a 0.39 ERA; Darnell added 37 strikeouts to 15 walks.

Adrian has produced a D3baseball All-American in each of the last four seasons. All told, 10 Bulldogs have earned 21 All-America citations from D3baseball (13).

Darnell helped the Bulldogs to a sweep of the MIAA regular-season (14 titles) and tournament (7) championships, their 13th NCAA tournament appearance, school-record 37-9 overall mark, 24-4 docket in MIAA play and national rankings in the ABCA and D3baseball polls.
