Adrian's Miller Tabbed Second-Team All-American by ABCA
Adrian College sophomore shortstop Thomas Miller was named to the 2019 American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings Division III All-America Second Team as the awards were announced following the opening ceremonies of the NCAA Division III College World Series in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

After playing his freshman year at NCAA Division I Oakland University, Miller burst onto the scene in making an immediate impact in the Adrian lineup. Miller earned All-MIAA and All-ABCA Mideast Region first team accolades and was a two-time MIAA Player of the Week (April 8-15) selection. Miller tied teammate Gunner Rainey for the MIAA lead with 50 runs batted in, topped the conference with 100 total bases and 186 at-bats and ranked second with 71 hits, third with a .382 batting average and 49 runs scored, fourth with a .538 slugging percentage and four sacrifice flies, fifth with 13 doubles, sixth with four home runs and 11th with a .438 on-base percentage. During a 13-game hitting streak earlier this spring, the sports management major set a MIAA-record by going 6-for-6 in the nightcap of a doubleheader at Olivet on April 7.

Miller is the sixth Bulldog to be recognized an ABCA All-American, totaling nine citations. All told, the Adrian program has generated 22 All-America certificates by 11 different student-athletes.

ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team selections, which were announced on Tuesday, were nominated for All-America honors. In all divisions, the ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Teams will be announced on Wednesday, June 19.
