The Bulldogs then followed with a home doubleheader sweep over Alma April 14 before dropping a pair at Alma the following day. In the two-game home twinbill, Dorow again was a bright spot, as his 5-of-7 effort at the plate gave him the all-time hits record at Adrian.
• Alma split with league-leading Adrian April 14 and 15, capturing two home wins April 15 to move into a tie for fourth in the MIAA. The doubleheader sweep was the first since the 1992 campaign for Alma against the Bulldogs; the Scots tallied 15 extra-base hits in the two-game set. Vann Acker (Fr., IF, Eaton Rapids, Mich.) went 5-for-8 with three doubles and three RBI on the day.
• Calvin took three of four games against Albion April 13 and 15, including a doubleheader sweep against the Brits April 13. In game one, a five-run seventh inning for the Knights lifted Calvin to a 7-4 victory; starting the rally was Colton Wolfe (Sr., IF, Eaton Rapids, Mich.) with an RBI triple early in the inning before crossing the plate on a sacrifice fly from Kyle Houts (Jr., OF, Spring Lake, Mich.). Wolfe finished the day with a trio of triples, including two in Calvin's 9-7 game-two win.
• Hope moved into a tie for second in the MIAA race with a 5-1 week, splitting with Kalamazoo April 11 before a four-game series sweep against Olivet. Thirty runs and 32 hits fueled Hope during their doubleheader with the Comets April 15, with Trace Slancik (Fr., C, Scotts, Mich.) going 4-for-8 with five runs scored. Earlier in the week, Nick Holt (So., P, Muskegon, Mich.) tossed a complete-game one-hitter in seven innings of work with four strikeouts to help in Hope's 8-0 victory over Kalamazoo.
• Kalamazoo went 6-2 against MIAA challengers on the week, splitting with Hope April 11 before taking three of four from Trine April 11 and 13. Against Hope, the Hornets tallied a 7-5 win in game two, bolstered by a 5-1 start through the first two innings; Ian Kobernick (Sr., OF, Huntington Woods, Mich.) had a three-run home run in the first to get Kalamazoo off on the right foot. Against Trine April 13, the Hornets plated 25 runs in the doubleheader sweep despite just six extra-base hits. Alex Fultz (So., C, Warren, Mich.) went 5-of-7 on the day with two runs scored.
