• Adrian improved to 7-1 in MIAA play to take the early lead in the standings thanks to a series sweep against Kalamazoo. In six games against MIAA opponents, Adrian's Frank Resto (Jr., C, Miami, Fla.) tallied three multi-hit games while hitting in all six contests and was strong defensively with no errors or passed balls.
• Alma split six outings in MIAA action, splitting a doubleheader with Hope before a series split against Albion.
• Calvin went 3-3 last week against conference foes, splitting their series with Hope after a doubleheader split with Trine March 27. Colton Wolfe (Sr., IF, Eaton Rapids, Mich.) had one hit in each of those six outings, while also earning seven walks.
• Hope split six MIAA contests last week, with a doubleheader split with Alma March 27 and a four-game split with Calvin on the weekend. JP Batts (Sr., OF, Spring Lake, Mich.) had a hit in all six games, batting .550 in 22 plate appearances.
• Kalamazoo swept Albion to start the week in a quartet of contests that had been postponed from the weekend. Over eight games against MIAA foes, Ian Kobernick (Sr., OF, Huntington Woods, Mich.) went 14-of-29 with six extra base hits; of those, two were home runs against Adrian to give the Hornets their lone runs in the final two games of the four-game set.
• Trine went 5-1 against MIAA challengers on the week, splitting a doubleheader with Calvin before a series sweep against Olivet. In the first day of action against the Comets, the Thunder did not give up an earned run in a 12-0 7-inning win and a 4-1 full-game victory.
