The Adrian baseball team will travel to UW-Whitewater to take on St. Thomas Thursday, May 18 at 4:30 p.m. in their first contest of the 2017 NCAA Division III Baseball Championships.
The Bulldogs are the No. 3 seed in the eight-team regional, which also includes St. Scholastica, Concordia Chicago, Macalester, St. Norbert, and UW-La Crosse.
The winner of Adrian/St. Thomas will play Friday, May 19 at 7:45 p.m.; the loser will play in an elimination game Friday at 1:15 p.m.
The team that prevails from the UW-Whitewater double-elimination regional will advance to the NCAA Championship May 26-31, hosted by Lawrence University and UW-Oshkosh at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wis.
