MIAA's CJ Krum Named National SAAC Representative

FREELAND, Mich. -- Albion College's CJ Krum was selected to represent the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) on the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (National SAAC).  Krum will begin his role as a National SAAC Representative this January.

"In just the few short months that CJ has been on campus, he has always represented Albion, as well as our new men’s wrestling program, very well," commented Albion Senior Associate Director and SAAC advisor Melissa Walton.  "I know that he will do the same for the MIAA at the national level.  I am eager to see CJ take on this new role and implement himself as a leader both on and off of the mat.”

Freshman wrestler CJ Krum is a Saint Johns, Michigan, native.  He is a Social Studies major and working towards a certification in secondary education.

"I am excited and grateful for being selected as a National SAAC Representative," stated Krum.  "Being able to represent not only myself and my school, but all wrestlers, is an amazing honor.  I can not wait for the opportunities to come."

Krum also represents the MIAA's partner league in the committee, the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC).  For more information, visit https://bit.ly/39KxVbA.
