Senior defender Ethan Boelens (Round Lake, Ill. / Grayslake Central) assisted the Knights to a 10-9 edge at Illinois Tech and a 12-8 victory over Benedictine.  Boelens steadied the defense and put out some dominant performances against their opponents' best attackmen.  He caused six turnovers and picked up a number of tough ground balls on the defensive end to get Calvin's offense extra possessions and was crucial to the success in the clear, helping the Knights to clear the ball at 92.5% over the two games.  Boelens currently leads the MIAA with 26 caused turnovers.
