Junior David Stechow (Oakland, Mich. / University of Detroit Jesuit) and the #19 ranked Hornets split their first four games in the team's trip to Florida, falling to Johns Hopkins, winning over Ramapo, and splitting the double-header against Middlebury. Most notably, Stechow was a perfect three for three at the plate with three runs scored, and two RBI, and was hit by a pitch in the Honret's game against Ramapo. Stechow had another notable performance in the second game against Middlebury going two for three at the plate with a run. At the end of the week, Stechow averaged a .462, a .533 on-base percentage, and a .462 slugging percentage. He totaled two RBI, six hits, and four runs. In the field, Stechow was perfect and had eight put-outs and six assists.
