Senior defender Ethan Boelens (Round Lake, Ill. / Grayslake Central) assisted the Knights to a 1-1 record over the week, including a 9-7 victory at Pfeiffer.  Boelens led the defense in both ground balls and caused turnovers in both games.  He had six ground balls and a program-record seven caused turnovers against Pfeiffer.  Boelens gave the Knights extra possessions and locked down Pfeiffer's offense, especially in the last 6 minutes, holding them to zero goals.  At Guilford, Boelens contributed two ground balls and two caused turnovers.  He currently leads the MIAA with a total of 17 caused turnovers.
