Junior diver Will Goodpaster (Hamilton, Mich. / Hamilton) and the No. 8 Calvin men's swimming and diving team won 189-99 in a dual meet at Grove City College Friday night. Goodpaster was a double-winner, taking first place on both the 1m and 3m diving boards, posting a season-best score of 293.35 on the 1m and 245.80 on the 3m. Following the strong Friday performance, Goodpaster and the Knights traveled to compete in a quadrangular of nationally-ranked Division III opponents at Carnegie Mellon University. Goodpaster posted a score of 238.25 in the 1m, placing third against nationally ranked opponents, and posted a score of 222.95 in the 3m.
