Junior Daniel Gutierrez (Grand Rapids, Mich. / Forest Hills Northern) led the Adrian College baseball team to win 9-5 over Wheaton (Ill.) during the Bulldog's opening weekend. Gutierrez threw five shutout innings with eight strikeouts. He allowed no runs on three hits and had a 1.00 whip.
