Sophomore Sara Schermerhorn (Traverse City, Mich. / Traverse City West) competed at Grand Valley State's Early Invitational over the weekend.  Schermerhorn notched victories in both the 200m dash and the 4x400m relay.  Her time of 24.49 in the 200m dash is currently third in the nation and leads the MIAA, while her time of 3:56.25 is tenth in the NCAA.  Shermerhorn also finished second in the 4x100m with a time of 48.71 which is currently 33rd in the country and was the runner-up in the 100m dash after clocking in at 12.34.
