Junior pitcher Jacob Davis (Perrysburg, Ohio / St. John's Jesuit) led the Hornets to a 3-0 shutout at Calvin on Friday.  Davis set Kalamazoo's single-game record for least hits allowed in a complete game (9 innings) with only three allowed.  Davis finished nine innings, with a 0.00 earned-run average and six strikeouts.  Overall, he is currently in the MIAA's top three with four wins, two complete games, two shutouts, and an ERA of 2.63.
