Sophomore Sara Schermerhorn (Traverse City, Mich. / Traverse City West) competed at the GVSU Al Owens Invitational over the weekend.  Schermerhorn notched victories in both the 200m dash and the 400m dash.  Her time of 24.01 in the 200m dash currently leads the NCAA, is the 21st-fastest ever in Division III, and is a school record.  In her first collegiate outdoor 400m dash, Schermerhorn's time of 56.00 is currently seventh in the country and a school record.
