Senior midfielder Hannah Heeren (Belmont, Mich. / Rockford) played a pivotal role in the Hornets' 1-1 record for the week, including a standout 20-12 win over Saint Mary's College. Her leadership as a draw specialist was evident, as she had 21 draw controls across two games. In the team's dominant win over Saint Mary's, Heeren tied the school record with ten goals in the game on 15 shots. Her 21 draw controls further solidified her position as number one in the MIAA for draw controls. In just two games, Heeren's contributions included 11 total goals, one assist, eight ground balls, and three caused turnovers.
