Junior Tyler Omness (Shelbyville, Mich. / Wayland) assisted the Hornets to a first-place finish at the Defiance Yellow Jacket Invitational last week.  This was Kalamazoo's first tournament win in over four years.  Omness was the medalist and named to the All-Tournament Team after shooting 154 (79-75) over two days.
