Junior midfielder Brooke Hoag (Portage, Mich.. / Portage) assisted the Thunder to a 10-9 victory over Albion and a 14-3 win against Alma. Hoag's work on the draw circle and between the 30's was the catalyst in Trine's double wins last week. Her 10 draw controls, 3 ground balls, and 2 caused turnovers helped the Thunder to a 6-goal comeback at Albion on Wednesday and a dominant win at Alma. Hoag also added 4 goals with a shots-on-goal percentage of .429. Hoag is currently tied for sixth in the MIAA for most draw controls of the season at 43, and second in caused turnovers with 29.
