Senior face-off specialist Jack Konicek (Geneva, Ill. / Geneva) assisted the Thunder to a 1-1 record, including a 30-4 victory versus Alma.  Over the week, Konicek totaled 14 ground balls and 31-of-49 faceoffs.  He also broke Trine's all-time ground ball record in the contest against Albion.  Overall, Konicek currently leads the conference with 78 ground balls and is third in faceoffs (133-227).
