Sophomore defender Francesca Fronczak (Clarence, N.Y. / Clarence) assisted the Thunder to a draw at Wheaton (Ill.) and a 3-0 shutout at Greenville to open the 2023 campaign. Fronczak anchored a back line that conceded zero goals in two games on the weekend, including one game where no shots were allowed. She also contributed the assist on the game-winning goal against Greenville.
