Freshman Sammy Yin (Ada, Mich. / Forest Hills Central) went 8-0 over the week with four singles and four doubles wins with partner Andrew Spirrison. His No. 1 singles wins included a near sweep (6-1, 6-0) at Manchester, a 6-2/6-0 victory at Franklin, a 6-3/6-4 edge versus Webster, and a 6-2/7-5 victory over Wooster. At the top doubles flight, Yin and Spirrison went 8-1 at Manchester, 8-1 at Franklin, 8-0 versus Webster, and 8-6 at Wooster.
