Sophomore Sara Schermerhorn (Traverse City, Mich. / Traverse City West) competed at Grand Valley State's Holiday Open.  Schermerhorn broke Hope's program record in the 200m dash with a time of 24.87.  Her 200m performance is currently third in the country.  Schermerhorn and Hope's 4x400m relay finished in 4:05.94 which is currently sixteenth in the nation.
