Junior Tess Anthony (Coopersville, Mich. / Coopersville) competed at Grand Valley State's Holiday Open on Friday.  Anthony placed fourth in the weight throw and sixth in the shot put.  Her throw of 15.42m in the weight event ranks her No. 1 in the conference, fourth in the region, and No. 27 in the country.  Anthony's toss of 12.13m in the shot put also leads the MIAA and is ranked sixth in the Great Lakes Region.
