Freshman pitcher Cole Giesige (Whiteford, Mich. / Ottawa Lake) led the Brits to a 2-0 shutout at Trine last Thursday.  In seven innings pitched, Giesige only allowed two hits while totaling six strikeouts and finishing with an earned-run average of 0.00.  Giesige currently leads the MIAA with 14.54 strikeouts per conference game.
