Freshman Ryan Broek (Hudsonville, Mich. / Unity Christian) went undefeated (8-0) over Calvin's spring break in Florida.  Broek and Stuart Johnson partnered at No. 2 doubles vs. Saint Mary's (Minn.) for an 8-2 victory.  He then earned a 7-5, 6-1 win against Saint Mary's.  Before winning his No. 5 singles match 6-1, 6-3 versus Moravian, Broek and Johnson edged their No. 2 doubles opponents 8-5.  Broek and Johnson earned another 8-5 victory at the second doubles flight vs. Rose-Hulman.  He won his No. 5 singles match in a super tiebreaker (7-5, 1-6, 10-4).  Broek and Johnson had an 8-6 edge over Covenant at No. 2 doubles.  Broek tallied his last victory of the trip with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 6 singles.
