Junior Donovan King (Detroit, Mich. / Farmington) competed against Alma on Tuesday prior to participating in the NWCA Multi-Division National Championships over the weekend.  King had a 16-0 technical fall victory over Joe Maier from Alma, created by a takedown and two-point near fall in the third period.  At the NWCA Dual Meet Championships, King had a 3-0 record with three pins.  His pins were at 3:29, 2:12 and 0:55.  The 2:12 pin was against returning NCAA All-American Kaleb Reeves from Coe College (Reeves won his other two matches at the national duals with pins in 19 and 16 seconds).  King has an 18-2 record this season, with his only two losses against DI wrestlers at the Michigan State Open.  Fourteen of the wins have been either a pin (12) or a tech fall (2) and nine of the pins have been in the first period.
