Junior guard Fred Garland (Detroit, Mich. / Oak Park) assisted the Brits to a 2-0 conference record over the week, including an 87-69 win against Alma and a 79-78 edge at Hope.  Garland earned Albion's first triple-double in at least 25 years with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists versus the Scots.  He also totaled 30 points against the Flying Dutchmen and went 11-of-14 (.786) at the charity stripe in the last two contests.  In MIAA play alone, Garland currently leads the conference with 34.6 minutes per game and 36 assists.
