Freshman Devin Rice (Rio Rancho, NM / Rio Rancho) competed at the SVSU Tune-Up over the weekend.  Rice won the 200m dash in a time of 22.80 seconds which also broke the Alma College indoor school record of 22.93 seconds.  In the 60m dash prelims, he qualified in the eighth position for the 60m final in a time of 7.19 seconds.  In the 60m dash final, he placed sixth with a time of 7.11 seconds.  The time in the finals tied the second-fastest time ever run for that event in Alma College indoor history.
