Junior Kimball Hughes (Reading, Mich. / Pittsford) competed at the Hillsdale Tune-Up meet on Saturday.  Hughes threw almost a meter personal record in the shot put with a mark of 15.04m.  His previous best mark was 14.09m.  Hughes went from being ranked seventh in the MIAA performance list to now being ranked second behind his teammate, Theodore Samra.
