Senior Brandan Knepper (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Mechanicsburg Area) competed at the GVSU Big Meet on Saturday.  Knepper broke a new Calvin record in the 5000m run with a time of 14:13.74.  That time broke the previous mark of 14:20.38 set by Nick Kramer in 2012 and was, at the time, good for the eighth-best time in NCAA Division III this indoor season.  The time also placed Knepper seventh at the meet in the fastest heat against strong competition from different levels of NCAA and NAIA.
