Freshman midfielder Melaina Springer (Bozeman, Mont. / Gallatin) assisted the Bulldogs to a 15-14 overtime victory over Concordia-Ann Arbor last Monday.  Springer scored five goals, with the last being the game-winning OT goal with 55 seconds remaining on the clock.  A hustler off the draw, Springer created assisting opportunities and played legal body defensively on the ride.  As a freshman, she remained calmed and composed by leading the offensive unit throughout the tough game.  Springer totaled eight ground balls, 12 draw controls, and seven points.  She currently leads the conference with 20 caused turnovers and is second with 62 draw controls.
