Senior first baseman Spencer Baldwin (Lansing, Mich. / Holt) assisted the Hornets to the 2022 MIAA Baseball Tournament title, including a 7-6 edge over Adrian, an 11-10 win versus Hope, and a 16-2 victory over Hope.  Baldwin slashed a .429/.529/.929 over the week.  He totaled six runs - including two home runs - a double, four RBIs, and a stolen base.  In fielding, Baldwin had 26 putouts, three assists, and four double plays with zero errors.  Baldwin is currently second in the MIAA with 103 total bases, and third in hits (59), home runs (8), batting average (.401), and slugging percentage (.701).
