Senior Leah Newhof (Caledonia, Mich. /Grand Rapids Christian) helped the Flying Dutch to the 2021 MIAA Women's Tennis Championship title by going 4-0 over the week.  In the semifinals versus Saint Mary's, Newhof partnered up with Sydney Jackson at No. 1 doubles for an 8-4 win and nearly blanked her No. 2 singles opponent 6-1, 6-0.  During the championship match against Kalamazoo, Newhof and Jackson notched an 8-3 victory at the top doubles flight.  Newhof earned a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles.  She concluded the season with an overall record of 10-1 in singles matches (4-0 MIAA) and 10-1 in doubles (4-0 MIAA).
