Cooper started with a tech fall against Trine's Nevan Freestone and followed with a major decision over North Central's Ben Williamson, a two-time national qualifier. Cooper then outlasted Olivet's Drew Mandell 19-14 before an 8-3 decision against North Central's Anthony Rink in the title match.
