The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) tabbed Jane Pearson of Hope the Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday for meets through Jan. 31.

Pearson, a senior from Lake City, claimed field athlete honors by placing in three field events for Hope last weekend at the Grand Valley State University Mike Lints Open. She placed 10th in the high jump at 5-1 and 11th in the shot put at 38-2 on her second throw. Pearson also finished 18th in the long jump at 15-11.50. She also competed on the track in the 60m hurdles (9.70) and finished 13th.
