Jordan Simon of Adrian earned the Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) on Tuesday for meets through April 17.

Simon, a senior from Jackson, earned field athlete honors with a pair of top-six finishes in throws at the Don Kleinow Invitational last weekend in Adrian. He placed fourth overall in the discus with a distance measuring 155-2.75 to rank No. 16 in the nation. Simon also placed sixth in the shot put.
