Richard Annorat of Albion earned Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) on Tuesday for meets through Feb. 7.

Annorat, a freshman from Naples, Fla., won field athlete honors after placing in a pair of jumps as well as a hurdle event at the Anderson Invitational last weekend. He won the triple jump on his last attempt as he sailed 42-5.5. Annorat took third in the high jump by clearing 6-2. He also finished as the runner-up in the 60m hurdles, crossing the line in 8.64 seconds.
