Tommy Parsons of Adrian collected Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Baseball Player of the Week honors on Tuesday for games through March 6.

Parsons, a sophomore from New Albany, Ohio, won pitcher of the week honors after helping the Bulldogs to a 2-1 week to start the season. He posted a 1.13 ERA with six strikeouts in eight innings over two appearances. Parsons struck out six batters and allowed just three singles in six scoreless innings of work in his first start of the year and has yet to issue a walk.
