Alma running back Nick Sullivan earned Football Offensive Player of the Week honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association for games through Oct. 4.

Sullivan, a junior from Flushing, earned Offensive Player of the Week laurels. He rushed for a career-high 182 yards and scored three touchdowns for the third time this season. Sullivan delivered a 50-yard touchdown run midway through the first quarter against Trine. He later hauled in a 25-yard touchdown pass four minutes into the second half for his second score of the day. Sullivan ranks seventh in NCAA Division III in scoring at 58 points and stands ninth nationally with eight rushing touchdowns.
